I prefer shower gels/body washes over a
soap as they are hygienic, long lasting and not harsh on the skin. Shower gels/body
washes are quite affordable and so I love trying out a new one every time. So
here are my views on Aroma Magic Citrus Shower Gel.

My
Experience with the Product:
Aroma
Magic Citrus Shower Gel is packaged in an opaque bottle. I prefer transparent
bottles as you can see how much quantity is left. Secondly the cap shuts so
tightly, I need to use a towel to open it. I’ve noticed this problem with most
of the shower gels/body washes packaging.
This shower gel has a gel like
consistency. It has a slight citrus type fragrance which doesn’t last long. I
take a little more than a coin sized amount onto a wet loofah and apply it all
over my body. This way the product lathers well. The shower gel easily rinses
off without drying my skin. Nevertheless I always use a body lotion/moisturizer
after bath.
Aroma Magic Citrus Shower Gel claims to
lighten skin as well as correct skin imperfections. I find these claims absurd.
It doesn’t do anything of that sort and I did not expect it either. You cannot
expect skin lightening from such products. This is just a marketing gimmick.
In conclusion I would say this shower
gel is worth trying out atleast once. As for me, I’m gonna finish this off as
soon as possible and try out some other brand.
Pros:
1. Cost effective product
2. Does not dry out skin
3. Lathers well
4. Rinses off easily
5. Not tested on animals
Cons:
1. Fragrance doesn’t last long
2. False claims of skin lightening
3. Opaque packaging
4. Cap is hard to open
