Attitude Whitening Cream SPF 15 Review

I am writing this review based on my mom’s experience with the Attitude Whitening Cream. Of late my mom noticed that she had a few pigmentation marks on her skin. So she thought about giving this product a try. My mom has very oily skin just like mine. I did not try this product as I already have a specific routine for my skin and I didn’t want to change it. My mom does not have the habit of using any creams daily except when going out. I suggested this cream to my mom because overall I had a satisfactory experience with most Attitude products.

My Experience with the product:

First of all the packaging is unhygienic. You got to dip your fingers in the tub every time. A tube would have been better. My mom uses a clean spatula to take out the product. On the other side, the tub looks attractive and closes tightly thus it can be carried around.

This cream claims that it is suitable for all skin types. My mom does not agree with this. In her opinion certain products are meant for a particular skin type. How can one cream work on all skin types? Each skin type has specific requirements and care. For example: Oily skin will need products which would give a matte finish while dry skin will need something that moisturizes the skin. I absolutely agree to this.

Immediately upon application, this cream feels heavy on her skin and also her skin becomes sweaty. It does not give a matte finish. The finish is more on the oilier side. My mom already has oily skin and to make matters worse this cream makes her skin oilier. Inspite of this she used this cream for over two months with the hope that it will lessen the skin pigmentation. This cream also failed at that. Attitude Whitening Cream also claims to reduce appearance of dark spots and blemishes. My mom has a few spots but this cream did not lighten them even a bit. This left my mom completely disappointed. But still she doesn’t want to throw it away as it is quite expensive and she intends to finish it off by using it on her hands and feet.

Coming to the SPF factor, SPF 15 alone is not enough. You need a product having atleast SPF 30 and above in order to get adequate sun protection. In my opinion, this cream is perfect for those of you having dry skin. You guys will love it. As far as oily and combination skinned people are concerned, I am not sure whether it will work either but you may try.

A little clarification here. Although this cream did not work out for my mom, that doesn't mean it won't work out for you.  The views in this post are based only on one person's experience. All products do not work the same for all.
