L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Age 20+ Skincare Range Review

I purchased the L’Oreal Paris facial foam and cream especially for summer. This range was launched a year back and I only purchased it this year after reading reviews online. So let’s see how it worked for me.

L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Facial Foam is priced at 105/- INR for 50g.

It is packaged in a plastic tube having a flip-top cap. You will need only a pea sized amount of this product as it foams up really well, so a little will go a long way. I used this facial foam for nearly two months, twice a day, and I am still left with half the product.

My face feels very clean after using this facial foam. This product claims to reduce pimples and blackheads. This is true to some extent. I did notice lesser breakouts, since I don't have any blackheads I cannot comment upon the same. My skin feels soft and smooth after using this face wash. I am not sure about the fairness claims though as I prefer to ignore such claims. The fragrance is not bothersome at all and goes away soon after cleansing the face.

My skin turns very oily during summer and this face wash was a boon to keep the oil away. I wouldn’t recommend this product during winter as it can be drying even for oily skin. This product will not work for dry skin.

L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti-Imperfections + Whitening Cream is priced at 325/- INR for 50 g. I had actually ordered the smaller variant which is priced at 99/- INR for 18 g but I ended up receiving this bigger pack and I’m stuck with this product as it won’t finish off early. I also hate the jar packaging as it is unhygienic.

This cream claims to contain UV Filters but there is no mention of any SPF. Anyway, I don’t wear this cream when I go out as my makeup does not glide on easily. You need to blend this cream quickly or else it will give an uneven finish. Make sure to use little at a time or your skin will look ashy.

Oily skin will love this cream as it gives a matte finish which lasts for over 4 hours during summer. It brightens up the skin a bit but the effect lasts for around an hour or so. I am happy with this cream as it does its job of keep oil at bay. I have also noticed that my acne spots have lightened to a great extent. It also dries up pimples. If you have sun tan on your face then you can use this cream to bring your skin tone back to normal.

I would recommend this product for oily skin only. It will not suit dry skin in my opinion. Even though I have oily skin, I will not use this product during winter as I feel the matte finish won’t work for me during that time of the year.

Besides this 20+ skincare range, L’Oreal Paris also offers 30+ and 40+ facial foam and cream. You can choose the range according to your age.

In conclusion, I would definitely recommend this range for oily skin during summer. Since the range is reasonably priced, it won’t burn a hole in your pocket. It is worth trying out at least once.
