My Experience with the Product:

I've never come across a face wash that was worth buying a second time. Since I'm oily skinned, finding the perfect face wash is a difficult task. Recently my mom joined Amway, so I got a chance to buy their beauty products. So obviously I wanted to try out their face wash. So here is my take on the product.

Previously, I had reviewed Attitude Face Masque. The packaging of the face wash is the same as their Face Masque. Even the fragrance is similar. I like the packaging anyway. The tube has flip-top cap which shuts tightly thus making it travel friendly.

This face wash is runny in consistency and is colourless. You have to be careful while taking out the product or else you will end up with more than you actually need. The face wash is 100% soap free and therefore doesn't lather much. But I'm okay with this.

After using this face wash my skin feels super clean and soft. It gives a matte feel to my skin and also with regular use dries up pimples. My face doesn't get oily for more than two hours which is quite good considering the fact that most of the face washes I've used keep my skin oil free only for around an hour.

This face wash effectively removes dirt. After using it, I follow it up with a toner. To my surprise, there were no traces of dirt whatsoever on the cotton pad. Unlike other face washes I used to see a lot of dirt on the cotton pad.

In conclusion, I would say this is the perfect face wash for those having oily and combination skin.

Basicare Toe Nail Clipper Review

Claims & Directions:

Contoured blades trim toenails safely and easily without pulling or tearing. After trimming your toenails, smooth off the rough edge with laser file. Then, have a healthy and natural shine on nails with our NAIL BUFFER. Simply slide back the catcher to empty nails after trimming is completed.

Care:

Clean blades after each use. To prevent rusting, have the clipper lightly oiled and kept in a dry place. Keep out of reach of children.

My Experience with the product:

I came across this product online while browsing for some nail accessories. I needed a nail clipper anyway and so I bought this one. I own many products from Basicare since their products are of an excellent quality.

The contoured blades of this clipper enable to trim nails safely and easily without pulling or tearing. I love the fact that it has a nail catcher. While trimming nails you have to check if the nail catcher is in its proper position. After you are done with trimming your nails, just slide back the catcher to empty the nails. This technique makes the process of trimming nails and discarding them so much easier. I only wish the nail catcher was of a better quality. It is made of plastic and can break off any time so you have to be careful while sliding it back and forth.

I was surprised to see the laser file nicely fitted into the clipper. It does a good job at smoothing out the rough edges.

Also, the handle does not slip from my hands while trimming my nails due to the unique non-slip grip.

Overall, this nail clipper is another innovative product from Basicare. It is a nice and sturdy clipper with a nail catcher and laser file.

Davis Nail Colour 773 Rose Bouquet Review

I'm currently wearing Davis Nail Colour in shade Rose Bouquet. At a price tag of just 35 INR this nail colour range is worth trying. This shade has plenty of shimmers. I also own another shade in this range, Rose Petal . 

The only con here is that it takes a long time for the colour to dry up, more than 15 minutes. Otherwise it is a lovely shade and perfect for night occasions. The nail paint lasts for more than two weeks without chipping if topped off with a transparent nail colour. I found this range only on Snapdeal.

My experience with the product:

I love trying out different face masques. I do use fuller’s earth face pack once or twice a week and a face masque at least once a week. Since my mom is an Amway Distributor, I got the opportunity to buy their face masque. So here is my take on the product.

The packaging is sturdy. The masque is packaged in an off white and purple coloured tube having a flip-top cap. The cap shuts tightly and is thus travel friendly. The masque is white in colour having a thick clay like consistency. It smells wonderful.

The product tends to stick towards the opening of the tube while squeezing out the masque. So, after usage I clean the nozzle area with a piece of cotton.

Before I apply this masque, for better results I cleanse my face first, then use a scrub and finally I apply this mask. It is very easy to apply this mask. It spreads better on a wet face. The masque dries up within 10-15 minutes. A little amount is enough for the entire face as it spreads easily. It is also easy to wash it off compared to some face masques which require a lot of water to wash off. I can notice an instant brightening of my skin. This proves that it removes dirt and excess oil effectively. My skin becomes soft and smooth. It also tightens the skin. This masque does a good job of cleansing the face. My skin never felt dry after using this masque.

I would recommend this masque for those of you having oily and combination skin. It will effectively remove excess oil and dirt. This product will also last you long as a little goes a long way.

I use this masque an hour before I go to bed. After washing off the masque, I wait for half an hour and then I apply Lacto Calamine Lotion. This lotion keeps my skin oil free throughout the night.

Overall, this is an excellent masque. Oily skinned people will love this. But this masque is not completely herbal. It contains parabens and other chemicals. If you are okay with this then go ahead with the masque.

Whenever I come across lipsticks, be it online or at the mall, I have to buy at least one. Since my mom is an Amway Distributor, obviously I had to try out their lipsticks. So I ordered the Pearly Pink shade.

The packaging is sturdy and travel friendly so no complaints. The lipstick has a mild fragrance. The colour is a lovely pink, more of a baby pink having blue undertones. Not a loud shade. This shade will only suit fair skin tones very well. The rest of you stay away. You can build up the colour depending on whether you want a lighter colour or a darker one. More than four swipes will give a darker shade of pink. I am content with two swipes.

The lipstick gives a nice glossy finish and moisture-rich coverage. It has a creamy texture and makes lips soft and supple. It is well pigmented and a single swipe gives an opaque pink colour. It covers up any lip pigmentation very well.

I don’t need a lip balm underneath as this lipstick is moisturizing enough. It stays on my lips for around four hours without having meals in between and then fades away leaving behind a pink tint on the lips. My lips never felt dry. At a price tag of 275 INR it does a good job.

This lipstick has no shimmers and does not bleed. Office goers and teenagers will love this shade. It also contains SPF 15 which helps protect lips against UV rays.

My Experience With The Product:

The lipstick case is beige and gold in colour. Packaging is okay, not great though. The cap shuts tightly and is thus travel friendly.

The lipstick shade has around three different colour tones somewhat like pink, plum and a bit of brown.  Those of you who want to experiment with red shade can start with this one. It is not a loud shade at all. Depending on your lip pigmentation, this shade may show up as a pretty and wearable red with earthy tones or as a beautiful pink. This particular shade won’t suit those who are dusky. The rest of you can carry if off easily.

The lipstick glides on smoothly. It has no shimmers and gives a finish which is between matte and glossy. Two swipes will easily cover up any pigmentation.

This lipstick is not that drying. You can even skip a lip balm. During winter you will need a lip balm underneath. It stays on my lips for a maximum 3 hours and then fades away leaving behind a pinkish stain which stays on for a long time. It doesn’t settle into fine lines nor does it give the patchy look.

This is a perfect shade for everyday use. The lipstick has a faint fragrance which goes away soon after application.

Since the packaging is opaque, it is difficult to identify the shade if you own more of these lipsticks.

I also like the fact that the lipsticks from this range haven’t melted even a bit in spite of the humid weather.

I’ve been using contacts for the last three years and so I thought about reviewing a very cost effective contact lens solution. Read on to know more about this product.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT:

I have absolutely no complaints about this product. I like how comfortable my eyes feel after using this solution to clean the contacts. It is very important to fill your contact lens case with fresh solution after every use and allow it to soak for a minimum of 6 hours. In doing so, contact lenses can be retained in optimal moisture and will become more  comfortable to wear.

The pack contains two bottles in different sizes i.e. 360 ml and 140 ml. The smaller bottle comes in handy for travelling purpose. The lens bottle is opaque and white in colour. It has a screw cap and the nozzle has a tiny hole to dispense the solution.

The solution effectively cleans the contacts. It also removes proteins. The solution lubricates the lens so that it remains smoothly in your eyes during the whole day.

This product is absolutely safe to use. It does not sting the eyes and is easily available online.
